This is the first publication of the Durden Park Beer Circle. It was published in October 1992 and further impressions were published in May 1973 and October 1996.
The booklet contains recipes provided by the members of the Circle using ingredients and brewing methods of the time. The publication has been made available as a historic record rather that a recipe book (however, recipes could be modified to use modern brewing method and ingredients).
There are 32 recipes covering Light Ales, Indian Pale Ales and Best Bitter, Brown Ales, Sweet and dry Stouts, Barley Wine and Lager.
